Copacetic had bottom paint up to the top of the boot stripe when I got her. I discovered the gelcoat waterline and painted accordingly. Then I ended up moving it about half way up to where it was. That may be attributable to fresh vs salt water.

Of course she also has the factory standard list to port, but I'm working on that.

Bob mine has the original boot stripe and it was like yours and I raised the waterline and use the stern berth for stowage as mine is ok until I fill the water tank so I balance for weight of water.

Bob, think you need less anchor chain in the bow or more beer in the stern :wink:
