C26 Mainsheet Block Upgrade

I just wanted to share a modification that works for me.

I never liked the stock mainsheet block on Copacetic. It was difficult to lock without being right there, and almost useless from the port side. I upgraded to a Harken 240 swivel block, and now I'm wondering why I didn't do it sooner! It engages and disengages with ease from anywhere in the cockpit.

Sold!!! Thanks! I'm going that route. I'm also going with twin mainsheets like another forum member has done.

Like your modification, it just so happens my project C26 came with it. I'll need to replace it with a new one in the future. Bob when it comes to double mainsheets check out this old post. http://www.chryslersailors.com/discussi ... =mainsheet

Thanks Terrence, I have a huge list of needs in my restoration this year. Cost cutting is a major concern. I like the double mainsheet thing. I hate the current stock set up. I'm actually looking forward to the new system. If I don't like it I'll go traveler but spend the extra for a good one.
