50s yesterday, I took the tarp off the C-26. Expect 61, time to get the spring clean-up going. This will be my sixed year with the C-26.

Good to hear that spring is on the way and may you have many more good years with your C26. As long as we puts forth the effort to care and feed the old girls they may even outlive their current owners.

BTW, how well does fiberglass burn? C20's got enough interior space to throw in plenty of old newspapers to help out. If there's a good land breeze going out onto the Great Lakes, there shouldn't be too many floaties coming back into shore.

When I told the redhead she said "you can't do that, the EPA fines would be huge for burning a fiberglass boat in the Gulf"..I said no problem tell me to send me the bill, lol...

Yea, she's probably right though. The fiberglass hulls in Chryslers are pretty thick. There'd be a lot of black smoke and stink that'd go along with that memory, plus the wife wouldn't be too thrilled about a thrall woman being there to make sure I was happy in the afterlife

Hmmm. That's an idea too. My first boat as a kid was a Sunflower, another economical ship. Not as big a hole as needed for the C20. I'd have to check ahead and make sure there is enough room for my sword, axe and bronze drinking horn.

OK, I'll stop now..... please forgive. Oh yes, MI temps in the 50s today! I'll be bringing my boat home in a couple weeks to begin spring clean up and repairs. I promise to behave after that.
