Free Lunch (no, not really, but discounted hardware)

Post by Windward »

No personal financial interest here, but just wanted to remind you all that Harken often has deals on closeout hardware. Kind of hard to find, but troll the "close-outs" section of http://www.harkenstore.com and you'll see what I mean. I've gotten my traveler setup, ratchet blocks and various other pieces/parts there at more than 50% off. Example: switchable 2.25" ratchet blocks with beckets for $29.95 (cheaper than Earl Scheib would have painted your car) -- perfect for hard-mounted preventers, roller furling turning blocks, spinnaker turning blocks, refreshing the mainsheet bridle, etc.
