Overhaul... cooler compartment

Post by hp18carr »

Cooler compartment... I like my access, on a c26 you need to utilize all the space you can. I learned during the installation, drimal tools are a most have.

On a 1980 c26 this is where the cooler is located... just forward of the bathroom to your port and small cabinet to your starboard. Here is an older photo to give you a different perspective with cooler in place... directly underneath your forward hatch.

I'm a C-22 owner so the perspective is uncertain for me... So the first photo is looking down from above, as if looking down from the hatch, right? The second photo is from the Salon looking forward, with the cooler in place. First photo the cooler is out so we can see the new water tight hatches.

So the new looking, round, water tight, screw off hatches are new, to give you more storage behind them, right? Nice looking, a good idea and you can still fit the cooler. I like it. Good Job!

Thanks
Alan

Alan

You get a cigar, you hit the nail on the head. Sorry to all... I should have been a bit more specific in my post. As for water tight, I hope I never find out.

My cooler has been replaced with a dark water tank I won't change that as long as it works.
