Keeping out the Bugs

Post by mga1951 »

I saw some discussion about mosquitos and thought I would start a new post.
An "Old Salt" showed me this trick.
Get enough fiberglass screen to cover your hatch and down over your hatch boards. Make it oversized. Take a small size chain and sew it into the screen. (just fold the screen over the chain and sew) Make sure your chain has some weight!
You hand stitch the screen w/ the chain inside. This will lay over the opening and basically seal it off.
When your done. Roll it up and stash away. I thought this was a pretty ingenious idea.

Nice idea, we were planning something similar with velcro, and one with velcro for the inside of the fore hatch.
