I'm just posting this to let you all know about a deal Cathy just found.
Sunsei 18w Solar Panel and Charge Controller - $100
It won't be there long. I have no financial interest in woot, but I have ordered from them before with good results although shipping is sometimes a little slow.

Solar Cells On a C22
This is a dumb question, but where is the best place to mount a solar cell array like this Sunsei unit? It seems like it would be in the way almost anywhere on the boat. Where do some of you guys mount yours?
Thanks for letting us know about it. It is a heck of a good deal.
Thanks,
Carl

Ours just came today, it sure looks good and the controller (rated up 25 amps) is very compact.
I'm planning on a hinged mount on the stern rail. Horizontal for charging, and down when boarding from the stern. Unless I come up with a better idea before spring.
I also have to figure out how to wire batteries to be charged from the solar panel, an onboard charger or the engine.
