wireless depth sounder
wireless depth sounder
I am interested in getting a wireless depth sounder. Here is sort of what I already know. Attach the transducer to the transom. Attach the display where I can read it. Okay, now how does this thing work? How many batteries and what size does it take? Is it reasonably accurate. On the web, you can get one for under $ 125 US. Anyone used one? Recomendations ? Thanks, guys.

How does it work? Magic!!
Our local boat shop carries a set that has two wireless depth transducers and the receiver and display is on a watchband. The transducers are designed to put on your fishing line so you can see what's swimming around your bait. Says the guys that use it really like it, but no comment on accuracy of depth with them. Cost is $85.00 retail.
When you have tools, therapy is taking a perfectly good piece of wood and turning it into a significant pile of sawdust.
