Hey everyone, I am a new owner from Dayton, Ohio. I have just launched my C26 for the first time last week. I so appreciate the info that you all have made available here. I can't stop reading the threads. Some of them are pretty scary like the ones about the keel falling off and the failures in the rudder assembly.
Anyway, I spent the day before yesterday getting her set up to sail and I was not sure how to rig the main sheet. I have a traveler that is a rail type set up about a foot forward of the companionway. The sheet block hooks to the traveler but where on the boom does it connect? Does it hook to the end of the boom (away from the mast) or does it hook to the vang about two feet from the end of the boom?
Thanks.

Thanks, Scott. I'm esp. proud of the broken handle on the starboard rear of the sliding hatch.
Been that way for too long, I need to fix that.
Working on the L-shaped galley today. Have it assembled from "real" ply. In that pic if you look in the mirror you can see the template I made from cheap thin ply. Will lose some room on the port banquette, but will be nice to have some cooktop space and storage.
Hope to have pics in the next week.

Welcome aboard,
There are a couple of us on this site from Central Ohio. I see Ron already sent a post. Where are you sailing at?
I go down to Rocky Fork lake 2x year, (that's pretty close to Dayton) the rest the time sail around central ohio.
Glad your here and you will love your Chrysler and this site.
