It didn't work...........but the phone did

Well the moon failed to show last night and the fog was movin in so we cranked the motor up and headed home. I pulled out my hand held Garmin 60 GPS just in case the fog moved more quickly than anticipated and to help navigate in the clouded pitch black night only to find the batteries had given up the ghost................then a thought occurs to me and I pull out my Blackberry curve and turn on the auto navigation and much to my glee I had river navigation in color, mind you there is no chart to follow but already being familiar with the area I just needed to know how far from shore I was and where exactly the boat ramp was if the fog turned visibility to zero.

That is pretty cool!

I've played with mine in the car but never thought of using it on th boat as a GPS! Nice!
