Opinions on my site?

Hey all,

As most of you know I have my own site and play regularly with it.
I just added today a weather link on my main menu and was wondering what you all think about it. I'm teaching myself PHP and also how to pull RSS feeds, read and redisplay them the way I want.

The link to my new weather page is:

For those paying attention, you can actually change the zip code in the URL and I'll actually go get the weather for your 5 digit zip!

Unfortuantely I only display a current photo of Port Gardaner The area where I do my day sailing and also where Alan will be sailing his 22!

I'd be interested in any suggestions!

I just spent 30 mins looking at every pict in your gallery... Hmmm.. I have a week off end of next month,,, if we can get someone to watch the horses and doggies we may have to stop by for a visit! My sweety's daughter lives in Ballard.... Would be nice to get outta Spokane for a few days.

Let me know if there are other types of naughtical info that would be interesting and I'll see if I can find ways to post it! I don't want to mimic what is already out there but would like to get a unique to the Northwest site going.

I'm currently looking for marine weather forcast RSS feed so I can put water conditions too. Infortuantely most of the NOAA stuff is formatted for simple pages and I'm to lazy to parse it. I'm also to cheap to pay for a feed.

Billy, if you come to town, give me as much notice as you can! We can hit the water assuming weather permits! Yare also welcome to come by and stare at the 22'ers if you are interested.

I'm just North of Mill Creek!

Scott, I enjoy your site. Pics (esp.) are always great !

One of the things we've found our club members appreciate is a NOAA page that gives predicted weather in a graphical form. Watching it over the last year I've had it posted at http://www.pelyc.org it seems pretty accurate.

I have learned some things from your site, Scott. I am new to sailing and learning from scratch. I have ordered a Kenyon hinged mastplate that I first saw on your site. The sharing of good ideas is what makes these websites so worthwhile.

Both my 22'ers have that mast step hinge. I'm so happy with it I gave away the original mast hook off Lady Di! Yes it went to a list member.

I found stepping the mast with the original hook to be much more exciting than with the hinge. Unfortuantely this type of excitement is NOT what I am looking for! LOL!
