Going back and reading some old articles (stop laughing Scott, I can hear you) and came across this one that does a good job of talking about doing a "resurrection" as opposed to a "restoration" of an old boat. Kinda fits it with the whole old Chrysler thing

...reason being Scott knows that after I tied up Saturday and met my slip neighbor it turned out to be this author and his kind wife. I've read his (and many other authors) great articles in GOB over the years, and the encounter reminded me (freshly smug at myself for having actually gotten my project boat to the slip) how little I know about what little I know.

So I'm re-reading a lot of stuff.

Thanks for posting the article E.E. it hit close to home with me... helping me to realize that even a sailboat resurrection can have a happy ending... in time.
