Back from delivering a Sabre 30!

We didn't quite make it all the day down to New Bern. Bad weather coming in, so the owner decided to leave the boat in a marina halfway in Belhaven. Nice boat, handles very nicely, and I was surprised how easy it is to dock a bigger and heavier boat.

I'm not going to lie, I am seriously thinking in moving up to a 30 footer. I love the headroom, full galley, hot/cold water system, enclosed head, etc, etc, etc

I'm going to see an O'Day 30 tomorrow, and if everything fits right, like there's no 2 feet of water inside the boat, or the diesel engine leaks toxic fluids everywhere, I might go for it, and if that is the case, my C-22 will be up for sale shortly (sadly).

Coming out of Norfolk, Virginia. Very cold!

No harm in a bigger boat! I most certainly understand that! LOL!

Keep us posted on the Oday! Check the mast for corrosion too!
Around here the smaller Odays tend to get a lot of pitting in the mast. Can't say for the larger Odays so don't take it as a rule.

If you do go to a 30' sailboat, Chrysler or not... I'll for sure find the time to look you up... hint... hint. (LOL) Even if you do sale your Chrysler, I have the feeling the amount of time you have been on this form you will still be seen as part of the Chrysler family.

Yeah, buying a different boat doesn't mean leaving the group (specially now that I came back after a long absence). After all, sailing is sailing, no matter what the boat is

Great pictures Gus It explines why we haven't seen the amount of boat traffic this far south, seems there still behind us... we are back in shorts

As far as moving up to a bigger boat I still think the C-26 is a great boat or the Chrysler 30 for liveaboard, un-fortinatlly I couldn't find one and settled on our Endeavour 32

I am holding on to my C-22 incase we move back on land because as nice as it is to have all the goodies of a bigger boat, it still doesn't beat sailing the C-22

Gus...great pics, but the only boat in the bunch I would love to own is the dark blue Norsea 27...I have been aboard one and they are wonderful boats.
