Jimmy Buffet anyone?
My wife surprised me with tickets to go see Jimmy Buffet!
First row, second level! We like the upper level because it is cheaper and getting the first row is generally pretty easy!
We arrive at the arena only to be denied access. There is a problem with our tickets. Go see customer service. Oh great.
So, we go see customer service thinking, did we print wrong? Expired Credit Card? Who knows . . . . . . .
The guy in customer service takes our tickets and says he'll be right back. Hmm . . . . .He came back and said the problem was with the system not us so here are two upgraded tickets. Cool! Thanks and off we go.
Good lord! These are first level front row seats! OMG! What went wrong such that they'd gives us these tickets? Now mind you they were not on the floor but in the side seating front row and guess where? Yeah Right up by the stage!
Well, it seems the tickets they sold us, the seats were not available. As in the entire section was blocked off!
Hey, they can mess us up anytime! LOL!
We had a great show while Jimmy played all the old songs and a couple of new ones!

You're killing me here...
Some of my favorite song lyrics ever
"Alone on a midnight passage
I can count the falling stars
While the Southern Cross and the satellites
They remind me of where we are
Spinning around in circles
Living it day to day
And still twenty four hours maybe sixty good years
It's really not that long a stay."

Short Story - some years ago youngest daughter and I were paying a summer early evening visit to a burger placenear USM, and had been cruising down the road with Buffett tunes...
Our waitress (about daughter's age) asked me how I'd like my cheeseburger, and with a straight face (while daughter tried not to laugh) I said..."I like mine with lettuce and tomato, Heinz 57 and French Fried potatoes..."
Just got a blank look and a reply of "I don't think we have Heinz 57 sir...is ketchup okay? "
No clue at all..

I'll try to make it short...
A friend of mine worked for the beer compony that was sponsering the Buffett show in Raleigh and offered me a free ticket if I drove so he and his wife could drink. They seem to have started drinking even before we left their house and shortly after getting there was arguing about something so she gets up from our great seats and leaves not to be seen again during the show, shortly after he gets up an leaves to find her leaving me there to enjoy the rest of the show. And with the tickets encluded free food and beer, so I may have indulged alittle. After the show I found him asleep in the car and had to walk the parking looking for her where I ran into people thinking what a great chauffer I was and feed me alittle more beer and food.
I promise I waited hours before driving home that morning
As far as being a Parret head well lets just say there are 5 Buffett CD'd on board 2 in the chnger at all times and his Swine Not book on the shelf.
And will be heading to the BVI's when we know he will be in concert there.
