Yes, adding the solar day/night exhaust vent to the head. I figured that's the best place for an exhaust vent.

This is crazy. I was just browsing around for solar vents this morning. No kidding! Not in the budget for me this year. I'm tapped out.

John, they are still on Ebay for $70, basically half price. That's what got me going. They were purchased by a boat builder and then liquidated. Exhaust fan only, no fancy packaging, brand new Nicro Day/Night Vents.

Tom, I can relate.
Last weekend after taking crew placement recommendations, measuring 4 maybe 5 times, and a large rum and coke, I cut a 6.5" hole in the cock-pit starboard bulkhead for my new compass

It's going to work out well.

The first owner of my boat put a big hole in my port side cockpit bulkhead for something (I'll never know what).
The next owner put a varnished piece of plywood over the hole with 5200.

I removed it and installed a speaker there.

...it is 88 degrees today - my tradition is to pick up the Myers Dark and the case of small bottled Cokes the first day we hit 90...think I'll fudge a touch and handle that today..

Tom My C-26 had 2 of those vents, 1 in the head and 1 for the cabin. You will be happy with it I'm sure.

$ 70 Bucks too pricy for me. But lucky for me my C-26 has one in the head that came with the boat. All I did was change the rechargeable batteries, takes 1 an it has running 7 years. No Mildew in boat, thy do work, an now you will have another place for a cabin roof like.

Tom, just got a look at the pic, that's going to be nice...I'm cutting a 3" hole for a deck water fill and that alone has me nervous..
