A "C-26" at our marina this year!

So,

Went to pay our slip fee and visit the folks in Bayview ID. Jim MacDonald, the owner of the marina, told us that he signed up someone for a slip that has a Chrysler 26!

I'm wondering who it belongs to??? We've never seen one and look forward to meeting them. Windwalker maybe?? If not a forum member I'll be sure to point him this way.

Our weather is warming up and as soon as we have a few days to re-bed some hardware we'll be putting in for the season... Yahoo!

We saw a blue Chrysler 22 going east on Arapaho Road in Richardson, TX last Sunday night. I wanted to turn around and chase them but the wife was only interested in getting home. I think most women will never "Get" us.

IIRC you had to do a toe rail repair and I forget what all else. Glad your your done and look forward to seeing you on the water!!

When do you think you'll be launching? We put in at Faragut, but Gary can crane the boat in also, not sure how much $$ that is. I know he is also concerned as always this time of year for flooding at the lake.

This site is what I use for lake levels and winds at the Navy barges.

The yellow barge is in the bay itself, the deep moor is up the lake about 6 miles. I also have a map you can download that shows depths if you need one... The 3 and 30 day plot links show a lot of useful info too.

Just an update, the launch date is now 5/5. I'm taking time off on the 4th to get her ready. The outboard ran great except fot needing a new starter solenoid, replacement on the way and to be modified to fit. This was the only thing that would make me miss that weekend.

Still a lot to do on her. Hope the Cap'n (read wife) will let me take the time I need to finish most of it.

I have that saturday off, and a new car, so I may just drive up and say howdy.

The Faragut launch is wide open with ample parking for setting up if you have any concerns about Gary's ramp, we've never used it. Faragut has a charge, $4 day use fee.

Still have some work to do on the C22, but hoping to launch next Sunday...

I walked thru our marina last night and counted 2 Chrysler 26's & 4 Chrysler 22's

So far I met 3 of these folks....

The boats are just starting to show up so there could be more on the way?

The Cap'n has made an executive decision and postponed the launch by one day, weather, Bloomsday and other issues. I just said, yes dear.

Hope to see other Chrysler sailors soon, if not Sunday, then deffinitely later.

I thought about ya's as the weather was a perfect day to launch.

I don't have a windvane, but have had that happen with my antenna! Now my mast raising box with the bridles in it has big letters on the lid thay say ANTENNA! It is Pam's job to put it on when the mast gets laid out an I put the bridles on.

My back ordered cleats arrived tonight. Will put them on tuesday, then a good washing to look for leaks on the rebedded hardware. Then the mast will go back on the boat and launch on thursday.

Look for baby biily goats on the cliffs across the bay, and baby gosslings in buttonhook. Careful and a heads up to debris as the lake has come up. Avalanches bring down trees and limbs all winter and start floating around!

We both work next weekend, but hope to meet up with you soon!

hmmm, so anything I normally mess up I can put on the redhead's list, and avoid the blame when it isn't done...I'm liking this a lot...
