Deja Vu All Over Again..

Post by EmergencyExit »

No this isn't an old pic from EE's sole repair, its the new project...oddly enough this is the second time this area has been repaired on this boat, as evidenced by some scrap lumber I found under the ply, looks like some pieces of fancy molding was use as shims..

Having to replace sole on the starboard side of the trunk as well, and, also looks like a large repair was made on the keel trunk, likely a cable break and a slam..

Its actually that small wood molding that is called "rope molding" at the blue logo store. About 1/2" wide..it was also under the starboard side of the sole at the keel trunk. Along with some treated lumber from a fence board, lol..
