For our NYC area sailors, it is a bit wintery..

Snowing like crazy for 4 hours and no signs of stopping.

Not to worry. Snow is supposed to stop by 6AM tomorrow for you guys. Sunny with 13mph winds......perfect sailing weather!

Storm is bad enough but a tree just fell on the house and my truck in the dark I can't tell damage to truck it doesn't look bad in the dark but when the tree gets cut away is when I will know.

:cry: Bummer! Had same thing happen a few years ago. But it was a Sugar Maple and made great firewood.

Thank you all for the concern I think damage is minimal as long as I am careful cutting it away from the door and until then I am hopeful it looks like the truck is ok and there looks like one small crack in the roof underside. and for the sailing content this is my land chrysler and I have to get it free before I can get after shots of the boat.

could have been alot worse a little to the right and the truck would be gone and am glad the roof held up my landlord did not like it when I called him last night.

Same from me...glad it missed a direct crunch.. my that webcam looks better today, I even see a sailboat in the harbor..

Yes on the webcam during the snow I could not make anything out and when went to the other one I could only make out the silhouette of the statue and the truck only had a corner of the drivers mirror and vent visor broken. Today I was working on the rigging on a 1978 replica of an 1846 cutter yawl I will try to get some pics of it.
