Been un-employed 1.5 years of the last 2 years. It's good to be working again.

Glad to hear things are going well Alan. I hope this means that come spring you will be able to get out and sail again.
Its comming up a year that we moved aboard and not working has been different. We start the move south soon with hopes of ending up in the Bahama's this time. Next summer I might have to find something to keep me busy/from going nuts while setting out hurrican season.

Mario,
To quote a gentleman (ok he called himself "the local boat trash"), we met at a marina in Alabama, as long as you are willing to scrub/clean boats you will never lack for work in the boating community. He and his wife had set sail decades ago, and haven't looked back. They also do canvas and wood work. Quite a character. He had a great expression "Point boats", you know what a point boat is? It's a boat where the owner will tell everyone, "I paid 1.2 million for my boat", or "I paid 2.4 million", you get the picture.
