Hey guys, I'm headed out at lunch to look at a boom for Forplay.
Does anyone know the length of the boom for a C22 off the top of their head?
I will not be able to run home and measure mine before I go.
I'll be leaving at 12:00 noon pacific
so help before then would be ideal!
Thanks
Scott

Howdy Scott,
Measuring ours for the main, from the mast to boom end we got 8'9"... For the "tall rig". I can see if they're same for the standard, or you could cut off any excess.
Billy
Hey... You got snow today?

No snow at my house today. Last Thursday there was though.
Eeeeek! I cannot wait for summer to come! Maybe it will hit 60 degrees! LOL!
Yeah, the boom I'm looking at is supposed to be 10' long. It will definitely need to be cut per the info here. If it is cheap, I'll buy it anyway and hold off cutting it as long as I can. Maybe a more appropriate boom will come up later.
Thanks!

No Snow in our area. However I was at Wally World last evening when lightening struck outside in the parking lot. We hardly ever get lightening here much less actually striking the ground. Man, everyone in the store though a bomb had gone off, including me, the building was shaking and resonating like a drum. A class mate of my was across the parking lot pumping gas when it hit. He said it hit the ground smack in the middle of about 20 people, well spread out and no one got hit, but plenty were running he said. Then the hail came down covering everything in ice pellets.Bhacurly wrote: Hey... You got snow today?
Now I know the rest of the country that is normal. For Puget Sound, that is phenomenal! Only the second time in my life I've been even in the same county as a lightning strike much less the building next to one.
Thanks
Alan
