More anchoring info

Post by Windward »

Since there was some interest in anchoring stuff: I put together a presentation on anchoring in general, and on Watauga Lake in particular, a few years back. Link is here
http://wlsc.lizards.net/resource/happy_hooker.pdf. May be interesting. It does contain one mistake, as I recall, so you may need to forgive that.

Thank you Jeff good info. I myself use 150' of 1/2" 3 strand Nylon and 20' of 5/16 chain on my primary 20# Danforth and my secondary usually stern is 100' of 5/8 3 strand another 20# Danforth. I am looking into a plow or Bruce when finances allow.
