Here we mounted a waterproof cam right above the rails and we were able to bury it twice in the water toward the end. We were really hauling.

Great video , Thanks for sharing. I wanted to shoot Video from that same angle but the 1st mate was threatening mutiny when I was tying her to the rub-rail to hold the camera.

What camera are you using? I had a go video for my motorcycle and planned on using it sailing but somehow my son talked me out of it! LOL!

Nice video. I sailed Lake Mendota many times in my beach cat days, but we've only had Copacetic there once last summer. Lots of good memories there.

Im not sure what the brand is but it is called a "crash cam" and my brother got it at a sporting good store. It is meant to be wearable and is waterproof and shock proof.

Yea its a great sailing lake, plenty big and can even get pretty treacherous when the winds pick up.

I spent the money to keep my boat on a pier this summer but I have to trek about a mile down the Yahara river channel which is packed with weeds. But it is still better than launching it.
