Welcome back, sorry you no longer have the boat but glad you are trying to recycle some of the important parts. Sadly this Chrysler website is getting very little traffic lately. It’s worth posting here but you may not get much exposure. Try looking at the last few posts as I think ...

Re: Getting the 26 ready for some serious sailing
Skipper Dan,
You must be working 40 hrs a week for all you’ve got done. Looks great , when is the launch date ? Carol and I will be heading up to Sequim WA to sail the straits in July and will spend some time in the islands. Let us know what else is being added.

Dan,
I just when back to see the replies to your previous post and see that my questions have been answered already. As Bob said keep us posted. I really like your sail drive installation, If I were 10 years younger I would seriously look at making a similar installation on Brigadoon. Rick

Wow, that’s a lot of battery power ! You’ve done a great job converting over to electric. I don’t remember have you had the boat out for any extended trips yet ? I know you did the original conversion several years ago. How has your electric sail drive worked for extended motoring ? I’m looking ...

It has been done no a c26, a much bigger project. If you do the repair yourself it will cost less than a hundred dollars. Pics would be helpful for specific advice.

I have no idea of the repair cost to have it done but if you watch a couple of videos the work is fairly easy and materials will run under $150.00. Fiberglass work is not hard for a small area.

Re: Chrysler 22 Keel Cable
I suggest you change the cable to stainless steel ASAP if the cable breaks while the keel is up there would likely be damage possibly holing the hull. This happened to to someone in a c26 who managed to get the boat to the beach before completely sinking. Check the documents page if you want to know ...

Captain Ron,
I looked in the manuals section for the depth on the swing keel c26 and it is listed as 2’ -3” so the rudder will not be deeper than that on the 26. You didn’t ay weather you have a 22 or 26. There are a very complete set of manuals for both the 22 and 26 in the document section. Specs ...

My wife and I recently returned from cruising the San Juan Islands in WA.

Welcome to the forum. I sail a C26 and the life line stanchons all come at close to 90 deg from the water surface. The decks on the 26 are narrow enough without having life lines leaning in. Pictures would be helpful. Is the boat new to you ? Where do you sail ?

This is a new rudder head for a C26. I need the dimensions on the original Chrysler part if any one can help. The C22 uses the same part. I need all the dimensions including the bolt diameter and distance from the step.
