Everybody, remember to leave a little something for the boat under the tree this year. You don't want her hurt feelings showing up in the middle of the sailing season next year. Trust me, EE remembers.
Maybe Santa will leave her a fresh fire extinguisher this year.

mine will get a few yards of sunbrella and a canvas repair book so she gets a new dodger top.

EE will not be getting a new bimini - maybe ever.
The first one Katrina blew off, I only had scraps left. And this fall I got her a new one. Nice red one. Gustav blew that one into pieces.
I can take a hint.

Lady Di just received all new blocks and running rigging!
She also managed a new outboard a few weeks ago but it is now buried in snow!

Hopefully paint and sandpaper don't equal sticks and coal for a boat.

Windward got some major gifts early, including:
- 9.8 hp Tohatsu extra long shaft electric start remote control outboard
5" pitch power prop
spare tiller
Magma grill
backup gps
a vacation at the outer banks
Other gifts she got recently:
- Caframo 120v heater
new shorepower inlet
Schaefer 8" stainless cleats
Windline anchor roller
Suncor deck chain pipe
rode locker
reinforced hull/deck joint
fresh vberth insulation
rebuilt rudder cheek plates
new rudder bearings (thanks, Ron!!)
What she'll have by Christmas eve:
- bow hardware reinstalled
better ventilation in the vberth
vberth carpet
new forward cabin sole covering
maybe maybe new vberth headliner
What she'd really like is to be back in the water and sailing... all this work-instead-of-sailing is killing us both. If we're fortunate, that will be before New Year's.
She still has a high clewed 110% genoa on her wish list, and she just might get it as a late gift.

Scott, you are bad, and I am very sorry I didn't think of that retort first....
I'm telling ya all, if it is not under the tree and wrapped with a bow and a name tag, it may not count ! Better get her a trinket for the tree !

Nice to see we all love our boats, Rag Time is getting matching motor cover and grill cover, check out the matching lifeline covers they offer @
sailboatowners.com they are a deal, custom made closed cell foam wrapped in sunbrella, waiting on mine. For Christmas....if I finish the hatch we will take advantage of this warm weather and go sailing, water still warm temps around 80 past two weeks and all this week.
