Chrysler Sailors Forum

Not sure how many of you are geeks like me and snowed in but there is a virtual around the world race that is free to play. It is about as close to sailing as I can get to right now.

It is all free.

The only thing that would make it more realistic would be a feature that causes money to leak from your bank account lke a real boat does

Glad my house did not heel.

I have the sleep deprivation thing going. I find myself getting up in the middle of the night to check sails. It is a rather addicting simulator.

No money to leak this this time of year, Xmas has leaked it for me.

Well I was too late to get in on the Vendee Globe race,, but not the VOR!

Here is a link for it:

Shouldn't be any more time wasted if ya can check on both your boats at same time eh!??

I already find myself waking up at night jut to check to make sure the wind did not change. Great now i get to do two races.

THANKS

Crap

I am a bit OCD

If ya sign up lemme know your boat name so I can add it to my "Friends" list!

I woke up this morning with a red stop sign on my boat,,, did my first auto helm change set for 0230 before goin to bed,, put me right into a head wind I didn't see coming,,, 6 hrs in irons

My boat name is of course "Jokulhlaup"

Billy

my boat name is Sv hope

It is a bit tough to race two of these at once. I keep getting them confused.
