Everyone else is posting pics of their shiny "new" boats for the season, so I decided to finally post a few pics of the boat we picked up a couple months ago.

Hey, been there, seen that ! On mine when we got it !

And didn't it smell lovely when it first came out of the water ?

I don't envy you, mine took more chiseling than scraping to remove.

The smell only became intense when we scraped all the little buggers off and they started dying/rotting in my brothers driveway. Did not add to an already very low wife acceptance factor.

We scraped all the buggers off and then had it all sanded down to prep for new bottom paint. Then ran out of steam.

Perhaps we will get it on the water this summer.

When we pulled the boat last fall there were enough mussells growing on the bottom to make boulibase for an army! The stench was horriffic when they started to die and fall off. Our driveway was a very popular place for the local seagulls
