I need to move my fixed keel C26 (and shipping cradle) all of 90 miles just one time. My boat is sitting in its factory shipping cradle.
someone said that it might be possible to simply mount the cradle onto a flat bed type trailer and then drop the boat into the cradle and your'e off...
seems too ez and I have never seen that done before and if OK then what would be teh best way to mount the cradle to the trailor, I will not launch from the trailor so the wook cradle would not get wet, but it is still wood and might flex or even come apart on the road ( although the damn thing is haevy and sturdy as hell) also would'nt the wood beam cradle add a hell'va alot of weight!
curios how deep the water would have to be at the launch ramp to launch a fixed keel c26 from a trailer?
trailor question.
