I just got my boat back from the shop after having a new motor added and it had rained a couple of times while at the shop. I noticed water around the windows. Was talking to the previous owner about the leaks and he said trust me the water is coming from the screws in the teak that holds the sliding hatch in place not around the windows. Pulled the screws out and most of the screw holes were striped out. Will recock the holes and add the next size crews back in. Also the hinges on the hatch in the cockpit had previously been broken lose form the hatch and had been glued back on. Well they came lose so I bolted a stip of metal to the inside of the hatch lid and will screw the hinges back on.

Finely got the teak that holds the sliding hatch in place sanded down and refinished along with the rest of the teak on top of the boat. I filled the screws holes that are along the siding hatch with Silicone rubber sealant then put the teak in place and filled the screw holes in the teak with silicone then screwed down the teak with the new screws. After a couple of days tp let it dry I sprayed the top of the boat with water for about 15min. then it started to rain for a couple of hours. After it quit I went inside the boat to see if there were any water leaks but could not find any. So that must have been where the water was coming from
