How to post pictures?

Post by slane1124 »

I just purchased a new custom built trailer for my Chrysler 22 and I want to show it off. How do I post pictures? :?:

Technically you can't post them directly on the board for storage space reasons -

One way, and probably the easiest way is to upload them to a site such as www.flickr.com. Once that is done, go to your pictures on the site, then highlight what is in your address bar, right click, and choose "copy"

Then come here, and in your post, paste in that address, and everyone can click on the link and go to the pics. Look at the topic "OK, Check this out..." and you'll see what Billy did.

You can also use that link and insert it between 2 tags of "" and the pic will be in the post itself, but the down side there is that everytime someone pulls the thread up they have to scroll thru the pics whether they've seen them a million times or not ! The link is just friendlier, I think.

If you need help just email me at the address in my profile, and I'll be glad to - as the owner of the ugliest trailer in the world myself, I'd love to see your pics <G>

Thanks. I will try to get started with what you gave. If not, I'll call for "posting for dummies".
The trailer is gorgeous. I went all out - double axle, brake on one, extension up front so I don't sink my truck... Been saving since last year once I speced it out. Out the door, $2400. He also gave me $700 for my pos as a trade in. So got it for $1700!!
Photos coming soon (maybe).

There you have it ! Nice pics

BTW I was thru Atlanta last week, have a son at UGA. Went out on I-20 then the loop to 10-78 to Athens, but coming back I just went straight down 129 from Athens to I-20 and back west that way.

'Bout an 8-hour trip each way
