I’ve been looking for an anchor alarm that will notify me remotely when away from the boat ( hiking or shopping etc) that will notify me if the boat drifts out of a specified circumference. We have anchored out when sailing up in the Puget sound area and I’m nervous when away from the boat. I found several units on Amazon that will do this , one called tracki is now selling for 6.99. It works with your cell phone , Wi-Fi not needed and works world wide. Use requires a subscription which can be purchased monthly. I have anchor alarms that will work on the boat while I am there but this will alert me when not aboard. This seems to be a valuable tool as losing your boat or causing damage to another has serious consequences. I thought this might be of interest to others who anchor out.
