1976 c22 capacity decal
1976 c22 capacity decal
Help does anyone have a picture of their uscg capacity decal? Were these boats even required to have one? Not sure on the uscg requirements in 76. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
Re: 1976 c22 capacity decal
mine has one but it's illegible. If important I'd contact your state DNR or closest USCG.
Re: 1976 c22 capacity decal
this is the formula for small boats based on people being 150# (rofl)
"Number of people = vessel length (ft.) x vessel width (ft.) ÷ 15"
"Number of people = vessel length (ft.) x vessel width (ft.) ÷ 15"

11.5? Really......umm I was thinking max of like 7 and even that might be pushing it. What is the max number safely on board? I'm sure someone has to have put more than 2!

If anyone can get a good clean legible photo of the capacity decal, send it to me and I will post it in our documents page!

so my original color brochure says "She's just right for a family of five, a racing crew of 2-3, or the single handler". So her plate had to be at least 5 persons. I'd guess it could have been 6, but certainly not more.

I currently am working a uscg program at work. I am currently seeing if they can get me a listing on our boats

Hello all.
Forgive my possible ignorance, but is this the plate (sticker.) you are referring to?
First line (red printing) reads: Maximum Horsepower
Second: Maximum persons capacity (pounds)
Third: Maximum weight capacity
Persons, motor &. gear (pounds)
Disregard if I'm wrong. I just assume everyone has one of these in better shape than mine, but I thought I'd send this along anyways.
Cheers,
Matt
