Man-o-War tiller extension bracket

Post by Leeway »

Hello all,

I just recently purchased a 1981 (I think) C-15 Man-o-War. It is missing the tiller extension and hardware. I'm looking for a picture or diagram for the extension bracket so I can try to duplicate it.

Thanks,
Lee

Nevermind...

A buddy had a spare aftermarket Tiller Extension (telescoping) that he gave me. This one will work way better than anything I could fabricate.

He also is selling me a used Harken swivel cam cleat base. The boat originally came with a lower quality version of one for the mainsheet, but the guy I bought it with replaced it with just a block. After the first 4 times out my hands were cramping up trying to hold the sail in tight. This addition will make for a more relaxing ride.

BTW, is there anyone else out on this Forum that owns a C-15 Man-o-War?

Update...

Got the tiller extension and swivel cam cleat base installed this week. Both made life easier out on the water.

Still looking for another Man-o-War skipper out on the site.
