Has anyone repositioned a 26' swing keel on its trailer to perform hull work. eg: stripping, painting? I can envision securely fixing trailer and tugging stern aft with a winch 12" max. Is there to much pressure on hull to trailer support, etc.

cranking my 7000# power boat on it's bunks immediately after putting on trailer (bunks still wet) wore through the gelcoat quickly, requiring repair. I wouldn't do what you're thinking.
