HELP! Looking for LS-13 boom and sail

Hello Chrysler enthusiasts.
Posting this with my tail between my legs, recently humbled by the ocean and weather extremes here on Cape Ann Massachusetts...I'll explain.

A friend recently gave me a heavily modified LS-13...I love the lines of this boat! I moored it in a nearby cove last week, and a wild storm blew through the next day capsizing the boat. Unfortunately I had left the boom in the boat with the sail wrapped around it, and did not secure it to the boat. A resident told be that during the storm he had seen it unfurled and floating out to sea. Crazy.
I'm pretty sure the boom filled with water and sank, taking the sail with it.
Does anyone know a resource for boom and sail? I'm heartbroken because I only got to sail it once.
Thanks for any help out there!
MARK

Sorry to hear that. Sadly I don't know of any replacement sources, other than finding a donor boat, or a boom and sail that fits close enough on Ebay. I had to do that for my Coronado C15 which came with neither item..

Good Luck !

If you're a good woodworker a boom can be made from wood with an aluminum bolt rope embedded. I run a Poplar boom on my DN60 iceboat and it has held up well. The LS13 end-boom sheeting is almost the same as the DN and I'll run the DN block to block at 45 mph without a fail in racing service. I have lots of pictures as we'll as some notes from my DN build and I can share them.

Mark,

I have parts for a Lonestar LS-13 - boom and sail as well as other parts.

I was interested in getting some money for them.

Please let me know if you are interested.

Thanks,

Just an FYI:

I am in Washington State and purchased a boom from Florida!

If you remove all the loose hardware UPS will put a sticker right on the boom and you do not have to package it! They will ship it bare as long as a sticker can be put on and seen!!

I had no idea and was very pleased!
