Chrysler 26 weight? UPDATE

Post by monty »

Does anyone have a definitive answer to this question? I'm too far from a scale to do a loaded and then unloaded weight comparison, regretfully I've never even done a loaded measurement!

I know the brochure weight is 5000# but those figures are often inaccurate.

My trailer is rated at 6800# and I'm thinking it's got to be close to that weight (and then some)

Update: Found a scale today about 10 miles away, so I went for a drive - my boat/trailer combo weighs 6930# which would leave me to believe the factory figure of 5000# is pretty accurate! Volvo gives the weight of the engine/saildrive as 275# leaving just over 1600# for the trailer - good to know!

I haven't seen a weight for boat alone, but there is a figure with boat and trailer and it is about 7700 pounds..
Link below in case you haven't ran across it, or if its helpful to you..
