Brain Trust --Need Help-- Sorting out Sandpiper we purchased late last summer. One item not found in search of archives was information on solution to broken tack ear on boom. Was boom replaced? Thanks for the very informative site. See you on the water. Betty & Calvin

Thinking you might be able to substitute a couple of metal strips on either side of the boom with an inch or so sticking up above the boom ; thru bolt them thru the boom and drill couple holes in them above the boom for the pin ?
