Any suggestions from other Canadians?

I have ordered from Holland too and had good results. I also order from marineoutfitters.ca about a month ago and am quite happy with them too.

I'm curious,
Can you order from places like West Marine, Fisheries Supply, Defender, and such? Are there extra delays? Maybe extra fees involved?

Thanks!
Scott

I order from West Marine all the time. That's where I get all of my fiberglass and resin supplies. The store I use is out of Vancouver.
There doesn't seem to be delays unless they have to order in from their U.S. stores and if they do they haven't charged me any extra fees for it.

Thanks for the suggestions.
I believe in shopping locally as much as possible as it usually doesn't cost much more and keeps the money in the community.
Ordering online is usually pretty simple but dealing with the border can be a real hassle. Usually double the shipping cost not to mention extra taxes, duties and sometimes crazy brokerage charges.
