Since I haven't sailed in years, I have to do my sailing through books. This winter I've been reading INVATION TO SAILING by Alan Brown. It is a great book to relearn the basic sailing skills I learned 30 years ago. Besides the basic instructions, it has practical exercises to actually use those principles. A very good book. Somewhere in my abyss, I also have a copy of SAILING HANDBOOK. A good combination!

I'm fond of Sailing Fundamentals by Jobson, very basic but I still pick up my copy every now and then and thumb thru

I'll second "the Sailor's Handbook." I figured since it was written by Halsey Herreshoff, there should be some good info pertaining to sailing Chryslers.

I have a little paper back that I must of gotten in grade school (A Golden Handbook) called SAILING a guide to handling, equipping, maintaining, and buying the small sailboat. By Bill Wallace.
Great old little referance book.

Thanks for the additional basic sailing books. I'll look into them also.
