Oh Yea.

Got my flu shot in October, and got a little sick, got the flu in January and really sick. So yes I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired.

But look at the bright side, it gave me time to read the Chrysler Sailors forum. :D

New boats, new members, Birthdays, Polo Shirts and Hats Oh my! And if I get over my sick days now then I won't be sick come sailing season right?

Can't find my latest copy of Small Craft Adviser. I had it a Week ago or so, it has to be here somewhere.

So to all you fellow Sicko's out there. Sit back, get better soon and post something fun up on the forum while your at it so as not to get too board out there okay.

Thanks
Alan

Alan...get better soon...so how do you like "Small Craft Adviser"?
I took a 6 issue subscription to "Practical Sailor" which I usually get from the library, but I wanted to have access to the archived articles over the winter months. I do like the magazine but there is a lot that does not apply to me.
It is all informative though and no ads.

I like Small Craft Adviser. True I find that a lot of it does not apply to me as my C-22 is on the BIG side of there conversation. I really did like trhe frirst issue I ever got. It had a Chrysler C-22 on the cover of all things, sailing as pretty as you please.

I find they stick close to the K.I.S.S. principle far better then other sailing mags I've read. I like that a lot. They also stick to the cursing aspect of things and little on racing which I find other mas seem to thrive on. Closest thing they have to racing has been flotillas of small sailors doing some long distance coastal sailing marathon type things which I have been quite intrigued by. Should I ever get about 3 weeks off in a row, a proper tow vehicle and an extra couple of grand to spare for gas and travel fees... Then I'm headed to the gulf of Mexico and I'm going to give it a try. Man you should see these little bitty sailboats the size of a bath tub making these long trips in mass. My C-22 would be the big dog in the race but it's As small as I think I would want to try it in. :D

AHHH, I just realized today it the start of the Big Seattle Boat Show. Well maybe I'll be better next week before it's gone.

Thanks
Alan
