I like to watch 'em, but to sail 'em? ...... There's no room for a radio to play Jimmy Buffet tunes or even a place to put a cooler! Heck, they even look cold. I would consider trying one that was enclosed and had a heater though.

Ha! Those things are alittle too fast for this kid. They race on Winnebago on the good ice years. I think I will stick to the 5-9 MPH range. It does remind me of my younger days before my knees went out. We would head out on the frozen bay after a good snow with 4 line power kites and our snow boards to see where the wind would blow us. We would top our at about 35 MPH. I tell ya it feels one heckuva lot faster than that!

I hear ya, I used to have knees too, but that was before dirt bike racing !! Ok, it was before I got old, but I blame it on the bike...

When I was a kid we would take an orange crate and strap it into our Radio Flyer wagons and mount a mast on the back and tie old bed sheets to the mast and spar. When some foul weather was approaching we could race down the street about 20 MPH.
