2005 Hunter 25 Sailboat

I like looking at sailboats, this 2005 Hunter has a dock across from me. And I just met the guy that owns it, he's about 55 and his wife passed away in February. He and his wife had no children together. So I think maybe he came into some money. He paid $23,000 for the boat and $50,000 for the condo that comes with the boat slip. Nice boat, but nothing like a Chrysler 26. Yesterday he had the Marina take the boat out with their left and place it on his trailer. And he is going to have it stored inside for the winter. Total cost about $650. And also yesterday I took my neighbors 26 foot MacGregor out of the water with my truck. It is a water ballast, it is a nice boat. But not like the Chrysler 26, I am very happy with my boat. Another selling season, is coming to an end. And I have not checked my kill cable, shame on me. I even bought a wetsuit, so today my neighbor is going to come with me. And we are going to try and pull my C 26 on her side at the dock. The water at my dock is really out, but I should be able to lower the keel 3 1/2 feet. And pulling the boat over on its side using the top left and a block and tackle I should be able to carefully run my hand down the cable and feel if there is anything wrong with it. At least I'll build find out if the cable is bad or not. I will try to take some pictures hoping this will be a good way to check that cable.
