THANKS ! So far its not forming up as anything more than a Cat1 when it makes shore and a TS up here tomorrow..Gustav made a mess of the power grid, and this one is tracking just a bit to the east of that path..about the same power so far..

I hear you can hang a key on the string and redirect natural power to the destination of your choice!
Not sure of one of the new fangled FOB's will work though!

hey a kite would be great...dont even need a first reef set yet..this isnt going to make predicted cat2..looks like TS strength when it gets up here.

This discussion reminds me to ask you, have you ever been to Aunt Jennies (sp?) just over the bridge in Ocean Springs? Did they survive/rebuuild after Katrina? It was a favorite spot during my frequent visits to Keesler.

update via phone while in some coverage. what a deluge of rain and wind. big tree in yard took out power and dsl wednesday. catch you all soon as modern life returns next week lol

It may have been just a category one hurricane, but boy did it hang in there a long time. Lots of people lost everything they had and have to start over from start. I'm glad you got through it okay EE.
