Hi all,
or should I say ahoy!? I am the proud owner of "Pirateer" that is missing
the two spreader bars. Looking in the owners manual I can't quite make
out their shape. I'm guessing they are aluminum tubing. Round, square,
I'm just not sure? Where is the slot for the shroud I'm wondering? Any
information and or pics would just make my day! Thanks in advance.
Oh, I almost forgot. Is there supposed to be a cable running through
the hem on the luff of the jib? There are already grommets and hanks.
Think it might have been added on?

I have also ran into this exact problem. The owners manual says they are 17 inches long, and I have found a website that makes replacements, but have decided to make my own out of convienence. I would appreciate any detailed measurements and/or photos of the ends of the spreaders.

My jib also has the cable in it, so I am assuming it is supposed to be there.
