I'm so glad that boat is seven hours away. What a steal!

Call me unrealistic but just at face value a C22 with trailer... for around $400 or less... as long as it's not a lemon a seven hour trip should not be to big of a hurdle. Just a drooler's point of view.

I don't see a rudder or a tiller. Not insurmountable, but there's no way this is a "sail-away". Still, I forwarded it to a friend of mine in VA. Spend an afternoon putting in new wheel bearings and drive it home.

Terrence! You're not helping!..LMAO. If I wasn't looking at a septic field replace/repair ASAP, I'd be whistling a happy tune on on my way back to Ray with a 22 in tow by now! Money and time rarely walk hand in hand these days. Somehow the big guy is always toying with me this way. Hmmmmm, it will be getting warmer though, and I could have a porta potty delivered to the house for the summer (or use the one in the boat!).......... Aw sh, I better just get ta work.

Sorry Bruce, I know it's not nice to dangle carrots and it truly maybe an overhaul nightmare. I'm sure your C20 will serve you well as long as you want.

Being this boat is in the midwest, chances are it's fresh water boat and the keel bracket and pin are OK.
Rudder looks complete, the tiller maybe a little short, maybe broke off.
Did notice that the mast has no spreaders and there are no lifeline standons mounted.
Still deserves a closer look.

Unfortuntly, I'm like Scott and like to sleep in my own bed.

My friend in VA called the guy. Seller says no sails, no boom, no rigging, no cushions, no porta-pottie, says the back corner of the trailer is bent, it needs tires, and he doubted the trailer would make it all the way to VA. TIFWIW.

I have to say . . . . . . it just might be a good boat to snap up if you are close.

Sometimes having a stripped boat allows you to rebuild the way you want!

That is exactly what I'm doing with Lady Jo. She was in similar condition. Missing everything. NEeded everything. But . . . the hull is superior to any other C22 I've owned!

Just sayin . . . .
