What anchor/chain/rode do you recommend for Chrysler 22'?

Now THAT is a loaded question! LOL!
You'll likely get as many answers as there are forum members.
MY suggestion is to get a Chapmans and learn about each anchor type and it's holding in various bottoms.
Then figure out what types of bottoms you will likely anchor in.
Pick the better or best rated anchor that type of bottom.
I tend to be conservative when anchoring so my anchor is one size up for my boat than the recommended size.
My personal preference is a bruce anchor for the pacific north west however I have a spare that is a danforth. I also run mostly chain rode.
Now, lets see what falls out for this question from the others . . . . . .

I done a bit of research including Chapman. The anchor with the other boat (yes, my new av avatar shows I've got another Chrysler/now stripping other of rudder and other minor parts) was a small cheap 8lb'r from Wally world and was bent banckwards. I plan to anchor in sand/grass around here - central Florida. Looking at a Danforth or Fortress at West Marine.

I agree 100% with Scott and in grass A Fortress would be good but the typical Danforth would not be good in grass.
