Does anyone here have an original Chrysler trailer and do you know the location of the serial number on the trailer?
Maybe a photo of the serial number location?
Thanks!
Scott

Here's a pic of an S-3000B trailer label I got after scouring the web to find out what the original tire specs were for mine. I believe this is probably the same traler as yours. Can't tell the exact location from this close up, but it appears to be on an outside rail somewhere up front.

A 3 month waiting list for a trailer inspection? Wow I guess we are pretty lucky the DMV lady here walks out to the parking lot and says 'yep its got wheels' write a check and you are on your way. My first boat the trailer was so old I did have to take it to the local garden store (why they have a truck scale I'm not sure) and have it weighed. I'm usually in and out in about 10 minutes. Heck we even have a couple of young good looking ladies at the DMV standing in line is not too bad. LOL

Trailer inspections ? Waiting lists? We went to permanent trailer plates here in MI, and for $45, I"m good to go.........FOREVER! I always check to see that the angle iron holding my trailer together isn't sagging more that usual though. Be forwarned, here in MI it's wise to give people pulling trailers (especially old ones) PLENTY of room on the road.

Its located on the left front side of the trailer frame, about three feet back from the pinch point were the C chanel comes together. I can take a picture of mine tomorow if needed, the Vin is on the sticker. so if its gone, your stuck waiting. I just registered mine this year. so I went thought it all.
