Lady Jo is in desparate need of love.
The other day I thought I'd take a look at cleaning up her starbord boot strip! I have to look at it every day so I figured why not! LOL!

Tools:
3M MArine 1 step Cleaner Wax. Why? Because it is what I had.
1 heavy duty Makita buffer
1 nasty ole buffing wheel which I will replace this week.

Time Just over an hour to do just the boot strip. Hull is not done.
This took many applications and polishings. Like 5 times. Over and over until she looked good enough for me!


It's going to kill my arms but I can't wait to get her completely done!
Maybe over the next few weeks our weather will hold out and I can finish her!

Here are the results including photos of the port as she was and the starboard after work is done!

Looks great Scott.

Scott, as you get higher on the boat, stand up a few concrete blocks and run some 2x10s across them. It will keep the buffer at a comfy height and you can still walk along the hull..
