Why do I hear the Jepordy music playing in the background. And EE's stuck at work. The wood looks like a piece of the table, but I don't recognise the shape. If it is a table piece, could you take pictures so I know how mine goes back together.

Are you sure the curved piece is the top and not the front? Looks like a shelf piece to me. But we don't have a 26, so what do I know?

Woodgrain, maybe about 8" by 24" ? Flat on bottom, bit of a concave curve in the upper left corner?? Playing in the dark,lol..

Actually it looks like the lower tray on the table..hard to tell from the pics..

It could go on its side... I am wondering if it is a shelf from the sink cabinet.

Can't quite tell the scale -how long is it? Whatever it is it fits in a space defined by those two mounting brackets (yeah i know, that's a duh)..its not the lower shelf on the table as that has two sides on it..doesn't look like anything I recall on EE..but looks OEM with those brackets..

Its a finely calibrated torque rail for the head....sorry, couldn't resist

That was my original thought, but 2 feet isn't long enough I think. EE has a shelf similar to that under the portlight in the head,but again the length is too short I think..

lol, so put the whole boat back together and carry it around to see where it fits, I guess..

EE might have it with the head under the portlight. covering the angle for the chainplates

WHOA, if I got that right from memory alone...I've done too much work on EE. Heck I've never even used the head...

Maybe I should switch to decaf as well...

I've touched, cleaned, scraped, sanded, cut, modified and/or repaired every square inch of mine---and I haven't even sailed it yet!

Goal for end of year is to have her down at the Gulf for 2012. That trasiler is sure going to help..
