Single Handing

I also have to single-hand much of the time and think there are many of us that do.

It would really be helpful, to me and others I believe, if we had a thread offering the latest thinking in running lines, mounting points for blocks, line lengths etc.
Any possibility of that happening?
The search function isn't very user friendly. At least in my opinion.
Thanks BC

I am very interested in how to modify my main halyard. I picked up the self-furling jib this year. It is always good to hear and "SEE" what others have done. Especially when they would have done it different!!!

I'd be interested in how to run Jib sheets to the high (windward) side.

Is anyone is interested I can get some pictures of how my halyards are run. Nothing special really:

Blocks at the mast base to turn the lines to port and starboard, then blocks on the cabin top to turn them aft, and rope clutches on the cabin top near the cockpit.

Yes Tom I would be interested as I am going to be setting mine up right now I have a fiddle block on the mast and a cam cleat for the main and downhaul for the main which is temporary. I am thinking turning blocks and a double block organizer and rope clutches and winches on the cabin top.
