ants

I think I've got ants.
Little tiny ants. My first time sailing the thing, I look forward to a "bugless" lunch on the water, and these things come out like lightening.

So... what's the low-down on the ants?
I want them gone. seemed to be located underneath the seating around the table. I had it parked for a year on dry land, no water collected in it at all: very well tarped. These are about as small as ants go, that I can tell. I saw them on the deck around my house too... there wasn't any food (or anything else) on board for nearly a year.

Please offer "step one"...

thanx!

For a start tarp it good once more and just before you close up the last bit toss in a couple of cans of bug boom fogger... you just may get the little devils.

Rember after the bug fogger to wipe down all surfaces you might touch especially if you have little ones aboard!

I have had great success with ant traps. The little things where they take the poison back to their nest. Seems to work in just a day or two. No messy sprays to worry about.

I have thankfully never used them on the boat though.

We did have a big spider problem at the marina, but after being advised to spray the dock lines, no more problem!

I had ants once and found out they were climbing up the tarp tie downs that were touching the ground, after lifting them up the ants disappeared.
